It was the Start Switch that solved your issue ??
Yeah....what does "the pts switch is correct" mean? "Correct" as in the original part is good ? Or "correct" as in a bad PTS was the correct answer/problem?

Moron Motor Wiring here: http://www.appliance...otor-change.php
I'm sorry, I was unclear. The start switch is fully open when it's supposed to be and has no resistance when closed. The switch is also not shorting.

... The unit reaches the end of the cycle
1) Does the Timer reach the OFF position by itself ?
OR
2) if you turn the Timer to the OFF position, does the Drum and Buzzer turn OFF ?

I will check that out tomorrow and report.

"Reaches the end" suggests that the timer moves...
The unit reaches the end of the cycle, begins to buzz and does not stop buzzing. Drum does not stop turning.
One of the delivery guys scrounged a timer out of a scrap unit and installed that, with the same results.

That solves it then. Subject to your testing skills, you have one of the following problems:
1: Bad wiring
2: Gremlins
My immeasurable knowledge and immense experience suggest problem #2
My vast sophomore experience suggests #1, i.e., "pilot error.

Timer does not reach the "off" position without some help. Timer advances down to the end of the colored bar on the front but does not hit "off" by itself. While the timer is stalled, the motor continues to run and the buzzer continues to sound.
