This is justa base model run of the mill GE, but it has me stumped. B4 I pull it apart any further, do ya'll have any suggestions? Leaving white residue and small food particles on the dishes especially the upper rack. Checked soap, water temp, etc. Nothing really obvious there. The spray tower telescope seems to be going up and the spray arm is definitely turning. The spray tower is chewed up a bit - not sure what might have caused that, but it still seems to be going up properly with the water pressure. I'm not super familiar with these. Anything common that I should check?

Should be able to place a cup (approx. 8 oz.) in the top basket and run for about 60 seconds. If the glass fills up then it's dispensing water sufficiently.

Are you sure the model number is "VSD..." and not "GSD..."?
