Apparently, water is backfilling into the tub and flooding through the door. The washer was not in use and had not been used for a day when this occurred. Any thoughts would be helpful.

Seems to be more common in these washers than other brands. I've had 3 of these where the water valve was not closing completely and not completely shutting the water off even when the machine was turned off and unplugged.

Thanks gentlemen. I've ordered the part and it is on the way. I actually thought that it was drain pump not working. Obviously misdiagnosed when the washer had not been used in over a day and water began leaking from the door. Just another lesson learned. Thank you again.
