I have a Fisher Paykel model DD602 - bottom drawer works fine but top drawer just quit working all together - it won't turn on, I can't get any lights or beeps no fault codes =its like the power is just off to top drawer. I am thinking it is the control board but before I order the part I wonder if anyone knows how I can tell for sure that is the problem or if it could be something else - what can i try. Any help is appreciated - the control board is $115 and I can't return it if I try that and that isn't the problem

If you have no power whatsoever to the top unit, I'd start where the power comes from. Take the bottom drawer out, take the cover off to the MCB and see if you have any obvious flaws there, like corrosion on the board where the top drawer gets its power.
Make sure you have the unit unplugged/shut off at the breaker before moving around control boards. I shocked the bejabbers out of myself one time because I thought the plastic shielding on the clip gave me enough protection....

Most of the DD602's are now in the landfills. I think Fisher and Paykel is still learning from their mistakes that the wiring and the hoses aren't flexible enough.
