drlabitzke
If a service manual and wiring diagram for a Kenmore bottom freezer refrigerator 596.62232200 could be provided, I'd be ever so grateful. Thanks, Dale

drlabitzke
Freezer 60 deg, refrig 60 deg, defrost heater cold, evaporator cool to touch, compressor discharge warm to touch, compressor running (by touch), evaporator fan on, condensor fan on. I think it lost the refigerant charge.

TheApplianceGuy
Do u not put a tap valve on it to varify? U just tell the customer "I think it may be a gas leak".
RegUS_PatOff
if the Compressor is running and the Evaporator Coil is not getting frosted, then either the Freon leaked out, somehowOR the Compressor is bad..either way $$$
TheApplianceGuy
Yeah $$$$ for my company. depending on the physical shape of the ref. itself, I can usually sell a 5 to 6 hundred repair with a 1 year guarentee over the possible 1200 to as much as u could spend replacement. I mean after all i know we all say, "well, they dont build em like they use to". And u said "freon", thats funny.
