Roper Dryer RED4400VQ1
This dryer would not do anything. I figured this would be a thermal fuse issue, but not. Of course I checked power, all good there. I checked door switch and start button, all good.
I went to the timer and did not get 220v to the timer motor. I got 120v from 1 of the 2 black wires (to ground) going to timer motor. Found the schematic and disconnected the harnesses to timer. T-F (at the setting I had it on had continuity (as it was supposed to). On the schematic I saw 1M and 2M (switch that must be at the dryer motor) that would send the other 120 to the timer motor.
Bad motor??
Does the other leg of power to the timer motor come from the dryer motor? That what it appears on the schematic if I am looking at it right.
