Need to run the test to start to figure out what's wrong.   Long wash times (+1 hour longer than estimated or longer) and dishes rarely look rinsed.  Anyway, been reading here and have some ideas about what to try, but I'm looking for a manual that covers this model.

The diagnostic test will only tell you a component is funstion. Not functioning correctly.

For extended was times and poor cleaning,check the following;

Clean filter.

Full water level.

Drain loop is high.

All wash arms rotating.

Water temp at 140 plus.

Correct detergent.

A dirty water filter will result in slow dirty water movement.

A too low water level results in not enough water to do a good job.

A poor drain loop allows dirty sink/disposal water to enter the machine.

A stuck or poorly rotating wash arm could be caused by a bad wash pump impeller.

Could also be caused by a warped wash arm hanging up.

Less than 140 degree wash water could be a defect in the heating circuit resulting in extended wash cycles.

Too much or wrong detergent could result in sudsing or other poor wash conditions.

I think I know how to check some of these, but not others.  I could really use the troubleshooting manual, if one exists.

Wow, I see the comment "This is also the manual that Bosch calls out for the seldom-seen and treacherous SHE44C models".  I wonder if I have a lemon on my hands?  We'll see I guess.

Some other things to ponder:

 

 

 The largest number of service calls are because of garbage in the sump preventing the water to drain. One gallon Shop Vac wet/dry works great.

 When cleaning out the sump a #20 torx screw will need to be removed to gain access to the impeller, also pull the valve out to make sure it isn’t stuck open or closed because of stuff.

 Drain pump covers were changed from 165263 to 423419 to provide better water flow and resistance to jamming.

 

•Check (backflow) valves for wear, cracks, etc.

•Valves were changed to provide superior leak resistance. The new material is leak proof. Part # is still 165262
