<<<I HAVE A LG WASHER THAT THE CUSTOMER IS COMPLAINING THAT SHE HAS TO EMPTY THE DRAIN TRAY AFTER EVERY WASH.SHE SAID SHE NEVER USE TO DO THIS AND IT STARTED ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO>>>
**************
If the washer cycle ends---and there's water remaining in the tub (but no "OE" error is displayed)---replace the DRAIN MOTOR.
If the washer cycle ends---and the clothing is spun-dry---but the customer decided to "check" the Drain Strainer and low and behold---some water came gushing out (about 2-3 cups)---this is NORMAL.
Water must always remain in the Pump Housing---keeps the Drain Motor from damage if RUN/STARTED DRY.
If the washer cycle ends---and sometimes the load is spun-dry---but other times it is not---replace the DRAIN MOTOR.
If the washer cycle is *interrupted* periodically (shuts down) and displays an "LE" error---the incorrect type or amount of detergent is being used.
