This vacuum will not keep running with a bag in it. Take the bag out and it runs fine, but put a new bag in and it will run for 30 seconds or so. I have no idea how to disassemble this thing.

sounds like your bag is not letting enough air through it to keep the motor cool .
is it a brand new bag ?
is it a name brand bag ?
is it an Electrolux branded bag ?

Brand new electrolux bag. This vacuum has a sensor that automatically cuts the unit off when the bag is full. I suspect the sensor is bad, but I don't have a clue how to get to it.
