This ref just quits with EF and ff light off about once a week. Unplug and plug in and works again. Has the panasonic fan motor. Just going to quote fan motor and main board.
That's what I would do on an intermittent problem where you can't actually catch it in the act. Not much other choice. Don't want to just change out the muthaboard because if the fan motor is really the problem, it'll take out the new muthaboard. Best gut the beast and be done with it.
