I have a Kenmore dishwasher, about 7 years old.  It fills fine, heats and washes fine too.  But it won't drain.  I've checked the drain hose, air gap, garbage disposal, and check valve for obstructions, but there's none.

I don't know if this is useful info or not, but when the dishwasher is filled with water, when I remove the drain hose from the check valve, water comes pouring out (which suggests to me there's no physical obstruction to the flow of water).  Perhaps a pump problem?

Thanks for any help.

Whoops!  That should be 655-16765691.  (I did not read the 10 commandments until now.)

The good news is that the dishwasher is fixed.  I re-checked the air gap and I guess there was something clogged in there that I couldn't see.  I just replaced it with a new air gap, and it's working fine again.

Thanks for the help!
