All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological.
We have a special session planned for this one. Instead of the usual Show 'n Tell on a technical topic, we're going to post tech sheets in the comments to this Calendar Event (scroll down to see what's posted so far) and ask specific questions that can only be answered by reading the tech sheet. If you at least try to answer the questions beforehand, you'll get a lot more out of it.
I'll be posting a couple more tech sheets before Saturday so be sure to follow this event to keep up with the tech sheets we'll be going through.
Who: This workshop is only available to tech members at Appliantology.
When: Saturday, April 27 @10:00 AM Eastern Time.
      Where: Online via Zoom
      How:
Click here to go to the forum topic with the registration link. If you're interested, register now. Arrive a couple minutes early to make sure your connection is working. Set a reminder for yourself for this workshop so you don’t miss it.  And check out past workshops here: https://appliantology.org/announcement/33-webinar-recordings-index-page/

Is there a website that has an IPL for most makes and models of A/C systems?

What's an IPL?

And I think the solution would be to expand on this resource that the Samurai has provided for us. Post everything you know right here!

IPL=  Illustrated Parts Lookup. I sell appliance parts and some HVAC parts but sometimes i have to find an electronic board or something else thats not universal for a customer on there a/c system and was looking for a quick parts lookup site like searspartsdirect.com so i can find OEM numbers

Oh. Well, nothing like that I know of. Sears can provide interactive drawings for appliances and such because they own the copyrights.

But for HVAC, just getting info from the manufacturers is like pulling teeth. They want "dealers only". I do not foresee any possibility of a unified info-sharing resource for residential heating and cooling.

bayouboypartsdirect sounds like a winner to me.

I like it! Now to find and start scanning some schematics.

I am really shocked that there is no site all ready up and running. you can find anything on the internet for appliances, cars, lawnmowers etc. but hard to find a/c part numbers with out calling the supply houses.
