Trying to stop my parts changing monkey habits. After perusing this forum for countless hours and coming to the uneducated conclusion that the control board was at fault, I swapped it out to no avail.

There are a few problems that I assumed could only be the result of faulty circuit board wiring.

1. The unit fills almost constantly, mostly slow flow but seems to be getting faster

2.  It sounds like it is cycling between fill and pump during wash cycles

C. The machine has gotten much louder, was extremely quiet for the first 4 or so years.

4. The sanitized light does not light at the end of the wash cycle anymore

E. I can't remeber the 5'th symptom, but I am sure it is there.

6. It takes for freaking ever for it to complete a wash as compared to maybe an hour or so when new, it is at least 4-5 times that now.

Please stop me from throwing more parts at this machine.

Ed

You need to test the water inlet valve...if it is allowing water in constantly, even when not energized, this is the problem.

1) yes, check the Water Inlet Valve

2) see # 1

3) could be loud Wash Motor, but may be hearing the Pump & Fill ...

4) could be Heater or Thermostat problem

5)

6) see # 4

do you need the service manual ?

Thanks,

I have the Sears training manual download. Is there a better one? I will check the suspect parts.

It is much more fun to order parts that I don't need. But that cuts into my beer fund and makes my wife less likely to let me buy other fun stuff that I don't need.

If you find the water valve is bad, i'd change it first before making a decision about other parts. I think you'll find it solves all the other problems.

Let the machine fill and start washing.

Turn the water off at the stop under the sink.

Determine if these other issues continue to exist.

Remember to turn the water back on after each pump out.
