Samsung exploded views and manuals often have bad/wrong or invalid part numbers. They know this, and instruct is not to use this method to get part numbers. I can get parts info on GSPN easy with the proper model# and version and usually also with the correct serial. I imagine it would be very difficult at times trying to get part numbers without access to GSPN. They have multiple "versions" of most models and some critical parts (like main boards) can vary based on the version.

From What the Samsung trainer said they are not like other brands that switch part numbers all the time. So i imagine (as long as im the first to work on it) it wont be such a nightmare when i have the original part cause i can just order it with the number on the original board.
