Unit runs through cycles fine and then cuts off like it should. Few minutes later the unit restarts on it's own and runs through the cycles and shuts down. This continues until you cancel the cycles or you open the door or remove power by turning off breaker. Tech sheet doesn't address this issue.

Check for a shorted keypad on the touchpanel.  If one of the cycle buttons is stuck closed and the door is closed, then the control will think it's game time.  You'll need to ohm out each pad in the ribbon connector while actuating the key pad and looking to see the resistance change from open to (near) zero.  Helps to have a micro lead set, I use this Radio Shack set and it's been peachy.
