Dear Master,

I have an GE microwave model# PNM1871SM1SS that makes a buzzing noise when running. It heats ok and everything works fine except for the noise which seems to be coming from the H V transformer.I beleive this is a common problem in this microwave and wanted to know ianyone has had this problem before

Thank you

SAMANERA

yes it is the transformer

the noise is a loose winding and will never stop the microwave from working or make it unsafe in any way

if you replace the transformer the noise will go away

but

you might learn to like the noise when you find out how much the replacement costs

SORRY ABOUT THE SPELLING , I FIX GREAT , I DON'T SPELL WELL
