Hi Fellow Samura's,

Just an FYI on this unit.Went back to customers home and determined that the basket is actually out of round.Put it in hi speed test and the machine went kinda bizirk. Its actually not an bearing or spider its the shape of the basket.Unbeleivable.How cheaply are these things made for something like this to happen at 2.5 years old.Afgter I did the test I spun the drum around by hand and you can see that its sort of oblong, out of round and you can hear it scrape the tub. This is whats been chewing up the boot..

I have had one do that also. Crazy how they just get out of round.

I've seen that too. When the basket was out I rolled it on the floor and saw how severely it was out of shape. It actually made contact with the outer tub, but the tub bearings were still good. We still replaced the outer tubs .
