Model Number:  JGBP24GEN1

This is an older range GE XL44 with a dial type clock and timer.  The timer is noisy all the time and I would like to cap off the red wire (power).  Does anyone have tips or instructions on disassembling the control panel, in order to get to the backside of the clock/timer?   Thanks for your time!

All the best,

JP Mose
