Kenmore Gas dryer getting to hot

3 posts in this topic

My brother has a Kenmore mod. 11070992990 it is a gas dryer. It is getting to hot. It even heats when it is set for air only. I suppect a bad control board or bad timer. There is no schematic inside of the dryer. If someone could please help me to determine which part is bad or the proper way to test these parts. Also if someone could help me come up with the electrical schematic. Thanks in advance for your help.

Thanks for the reply. I have not checked the out put temp. But, my brother said that is drying in about half the time and it is also getting hot

when you have it set for air only. I cannot download the diagram at this time. They have not accepted my retweet yet so I can download diagrams
