GE Refrigerator Model #PFS22SISASS

13 posts in this topic

Hi,

This refrigerator has the french doors with the latch at the top of each door that holds the door shut.

The left one has broken off and the customer complains that it sometimes doesn't close correctly.

I've never changed this part before.

What part or parts would need to be changed and has anyone ever done this??

What's the sequence?

Thanks,

Bruce

I've seen it several times out of warranty. No customer has yet agreed to do the repair.

Those kinda look like L.G. parts........That little curly-cue looking piece was purchased separate, if that is the broken part...................one on the top and one on the bottom.............

That wasn't the broken part on the models I'd worked on.

unless I'm talking about a different model, you couldn't get to the part without destroying the gasket material
