kitchenaid/whirlpool kssc48qvs00.  For several weeks, unit was running constantly, other than a few times a day when unit would cycle off for half a second and then start again.  This would repeat about 3 times and then start running again for hours.  Unit maintained consistent cold temp (0,37).  I turned unit off at control panel, not main power, yesterday and 15 minutes later, unit would not re-start and control panel did not come back on.  Display enters startup for about 3 seconds and then goes out. Water dispenser and lights working properly.  Unit was purchased 4 years ago.  Appreciate any help you may offer.

Most likely a problem with main control board located in unit compartment.  May be able to reset by turning unit off at master switch behind grille for 5 minutes
