Hi all, my friend's GE Prodigy model DPXR483 has the upper plastic part inside the drum chipped which snags and tears clothes. Below is a picture (with the chip patched with scotch tape... for now). Is this the part? Does anyone have the service manual or disassembly tips? Would disassembly be roughly equivalent to the video pinned in this forum?

Thanks!

That would be the right part. Don't forget the drum glides listed on the same page. 2 of each. White ones on the sides, dark ones on the top.

There's a video on this page that shows how to replace the front drum bearing:  http://www.repaircli.../WE3M26/1089201
