They are adapters and fit on your regular probes like the tp88 except there is a thin wire that runs from the adapter to the tip, effectively making your leads longer.
Left one of my tp88's at customers in the last week or so. This is why this website is invaluable. Much thanks Durham

Someone mentioned these already but I just picked up a set of Pomona leads (sold at Servall for $24, part number 6262-02). They seem much better than the Radio Shack leads, which I use all the time. Just the tip of the probe is exposed, the rest has a protective coating to stop it from contacting anything. They are much longer than the RS leads which seems like it will be useful at times, haven't used them yet though. They fit perfectly on Fluke leads.

I had similar probes from Fieldpiece but the radio shack kit also gives you ribbon connector probes and an assortment of other probe adapters...now for on sale for only 12 bucks

Radio Shack won't be around much longer. They filed for bankruptcy.

They only filed corporate bankruptcy. They have franchisees that won't be affected by the corporate bankruptcy, the are independently owned companies who only use the Radio Shack name.
