I have a Frigidaire front load washer, model LTF2140ES3, that won't spin in any cycle.  I've checked the hoses, which are clear, and the pump motor is working.  The water will drain out of the tub, but it won't spin out.  The belt seems tight, and watching it, I can see no evidence it even tries to spin, although I can hear a humming sound when it should be spinning.  I've changed out the motor control board, but that changed nothing.  The door lock seems fine.  I have activated the diagnostic tests, and it will perform a high speed spin here, the door locks and unlocks properly, and it will fill and spin.  I've reset by unplugging it, then ran a load of clothes in regular option.  Same thing; clean but soggy with no high speed spin.  What could be the problem?

are you sure the door lock is good...run it in the spin cycle for a few minutes, then unplug the unit, can you open the door right away or only after a bit

Thanks for your question.  The door opens right away when unplugged in spin mode.  Broken door lock?

Thats right, door lock is faulty. There is a secondary lock in the switch that won't let you pause or stop the spin cycle and open the door. The diagnostic spin test will bypass the door lock.
