Need a new Washing Machine (large)

9 posts in this topic

Dear Honorable  Samurai and Master Appliantologists,

I find myself needing a new washing machine.

My front load Bosch POS washer is dying a slow death, which is good because I really don't like it, never have.
I am looking for a big a$$ washer that fills up and uses a ship load of water to really wash my clothes, or even one that uses a normal amount of water. I am just not good with the washers that use the same amount of water that I put in a squirt gun.
My biggest problem is I rescue dogs, and use a ship load of hospital bed pads to potty train or line thier bedding. So, I got a whole lot of pissyness that needs cleaning. I have even considered a commercial washer.  I do not want to spend more than 1K  but will if there is something out there you think will work for me.

Any help is greatly appricated.
Lowly grasshopper Joani

Thank you  USPat.  I forgot to add that I would like to be able to throw in a king size quilt every now and then.

Those commercial direct drives still don't fill up with water all the way.

that model uses (2) Water Level Switches and a "Feature Connector" to enable the high water level switch for both Wash and Rinse

I'll second the speed queen. Solid design, and a 3 year warranty. Not quiet or pretty, but a solid product

 RegUs,

Which model uses Water Switches?

It appears that a Speed Queen may be the way to go. Really not concerned about pretty, more concerned with clean items that do not stink after being washed. Urine oder is one tough bird.

Either the water level switch or the switch chart is labeled wrong. The chart says switch position D is small level but on the wiring diagram, position D connects to the large level pressure switch. Not the first time Iv'e seen errors on Whirlpool wiring diagrams.
