My Kenmore HD washer started to scream in spin cycle. My husband took in out side to trouble shoot and wiggled the tub around and it started to work with no scream . I soaked a load of clothes over night and started the washer and it started the squeaking sound during the wash cycle. It is a very small load of clothes I am washing so no over load. Any one have a solution?

Check the integrity of the drive coupler.  There's a video on this page that shows you how to get to it:  http://www.repaircli...er=110.29522800

Perhaps there's something in the drain pump ?

pump goes on way during wash-- reverses during spin --- no doubt it's loader in spin?

I had a DD the other day with a tiny sea shell in it. It screamed like it was going to blow up, both during the wash and son cycle.
