Freezer is cooling fine.   Did all the standard troubleshooting: cleaned coils, cleared air flow (emptied fridge), did a full 10min power reset.

What explains the freezer working just fine and the fridge half of the side by side to stop cooling?  Are they separate systems?

Thanks!

Is the evaporator fan behind the rear panel in the freezer running?
Is the air damper at the top left corner of the fresh food section open?
Is there frost buildup on the return vent in between the two compartments?
