Stuck wire harnesses

1 post in this topic

OK, embarrassing question.  I opened up the control panel on our Maytag washer (MVWC400XW0) to read the ohms on the motor and agitator, and I can't get the darn wire harnesses out to do any testing.  I'm seriously surprised I haven't broken something.  Is there a trick to this? The harness in question has a couple of tabs to press down.  I even stuck a flathead in there to try to pry it out (with tabs pressed), and instead of the plug coming out, the entire circuit board was bending up.

The manual describes the harness as a "pinch" connector with the wires held by a tree clip.
