Stacking WF316LAS&DV316LES washer/dryer using sk-5a kit?

2 posts in this topic

We just moved, and our new place doesn't have room for our washer/dryer to be next to each other. I bought the sk-5a kit from, as I'd elsewhere seen that that was the right kit. The instructions that came with the kit say that for wf3 model washers, there's supposed to be two screw holes next to each other, to which one attaches brackets that support the dryer. However, the top of the washer covers the second of the screw holes. There's an indentation in the top cover, over the second hole on each side. Am I supposed to stack the washer/dryer without the top on the washer? Or am I supposed to somehow remove the indented area of the top of the washer to allow for properly attaching the brackets? Or is this the wrong kit?
