I originally was called out because the key pad was not working it would just buzz when buttons were pressed on the left side of the control pad. I replaced the control pad and that seemed to fix the control pad problems but then the display said unlocking and would not stop even though the oven was unlocked. The lock was not locked and I was told it never locked. I believe it was bypassedI replaced the lock with the power off to the machine when I powered it back on the unlocking message was gone but it now says master 3-00 , slave 4-00, Ee sng cnv p129. and none of the buttons on the control pad do anything. I think I'm in a programming menu but can't get out of it please help.

Do you have a service manual?

If not, 1 can be requested here; http://appliantology...anual-requests/

Did you replace the touch glass control, or, the control board?

I was reading the tech sheet Reg gave you and it says you'll need this manual for more detailed instructions. Ex. touchpad testing (pg. 12), etc..

I think that's just telling you what software it's running.
You should be able to press cancel and get out of that screen.
Did you try pressing cancel?

John, it seems like it's stuck in some engineering test mode.  Thought the p129 might have been a fault code but it doesn't match any known codes.  There is multiple mention of programming errors which advise to turn off circuit breaker for 5 minutes and re-energize.  And since you can't enter any commands on the touch control and can't access the test mode, all you can do is double check all of your wire connections at the main relay board.  Did the new control come with an instruction sheet?

I remember the Thermador (I think) ovens, which use a similar control (not the display head/relay board kit), had similar issues.  To get rid of a certain reoccurring fault is was required to replace the touch control and main relay board, and there was some programming required.

Here is step by step what I've done: The left side of the control pad would only make an audible buzz when pressing buttons, i could turn on the light set clock and other non cooking related functions replaced the control board, the key pad seemed to be working but "unlocking" appeared on the display and never cleared. I checked the lock it was not operating, the customer told me it never worked before, I turned off the breaker and replaced the lock 1wire at a time then turned the power back on, "unlocking" message was gone but the key pad was completely unresponsive, And i had the master 03 slave 04 ee sng cnv p129 on the display i tried turning the breaker off for 5 - 10 minutes and powered it back on and still the same message and still no response from the key pad. I confused because the keypad was operating before I replaced the lock. Now i Can't turn on the light, any cooking options, set the clock or anything. I'm going back out again tomorrow with the service manual which I did not have previously. I am leaning towards the touch pad itself but am confused why it worked before I replaced the lock. It wouldn't cook because it thought the door was never unlocked ( it was and has always been unlocked ) but at least I could turn on the light and set the clock. The new control board had no instructions but that doesn't mean they forgot to put it in the box. Many the control board needs to be initilized to the key pad but I can't find any info on how to do so. Any ideas

Thanks guys it was a loose connection on the ribbon cable on the left side of the control that connects to one of the key pads. Shame for me for not tugging on every wire I connected. Beer for everyone else.
