Dear Master,

I have an Maytag ref/side by side.Model# MSD2756GES.The door wouldnt close by itself so I replaced the lower door pin and closer. After that it closed by itself but not with much force.Anyway the cust called back and said it was doing the same thing.I went out and made some adjustments and its back to closing by itself but again very slowly, and not very forcefully. The freezer door closes with authority,so any tips on this type of problem?

Sincerely,

SAMANERA

Is the door seal rubbing too tightly anywhere while door is closing?

Can it be adjusted out slightly at the top?

Do they have alot of heavy items stored in the door?

Did you change all 3 of these parts?

Thank you for the reply,

I know according to the picture that number 10 sits in the hinge, number 12 is attached to the bottom of ref door, but the unit Iam working on ,and it was worked on before doesnt have number 13 anywhere at bottom of door. That is most likely my problem.Does it sit in the hinge somewhere? I dont know. Please help

Thank you

Ya know after a closer look I don't think 13 should be on it either. Sorry for misleading you there dryerman.
