Ok first thanks for all the great advice in the past. Now i have to put a call out or its no more beer for me ... per the ole lady. after 5 yrs fixing everyones stuff .. her personal washer takes a crap and im stumped.so its no more trips to the dojo till i figure it out... so here we go

maytag front loader mod #mhwz400tq00

symptoms

any attempt to start any cycle results in the following: door goes to lock one time . door lock lights up,  add garment flashes 3 times  then machine powers down.

the only exception is for the spin cycle  it works fine in this cycle

Note : the rinse and spin cycle wont work its a  seperate cycle option

any suggestions ? would make my life easier

also anyone know how to put this machine into service mode ?

Thanks in advance

dennis
