Hi. I have a Kenmore series 70 washer model number 110.26712690. When it is filling it also dumps water all over the floor, it drains with no problem. I would like to open it up and see if it is something that I could take care of myself (hoses) or if it is something where I will need to call in help (pump).
Problem is, I have not opened it in maybe 6 years and I cannot remember how to get it open. I took off the end caps and have the control panel flipped up, but cant figure out how to get the main panels off to see where the leak if coming from. I looked through the photo archive but did not find anything that looked close, and I can't find manuals on www3.sears.com anymore (let me known if there is a trick to uncovering them please).

Thanks, that helped a lot. I thought I would share this with everyone.
I got it all apart, but was not adept enough to source a leak. I wound up calling a local guy with a repair business that I have used before and trust. He looked it over, could not find a leak, and told me that the problem was probably an unbalanced load -- that if it is unbalanced when it enters a cycle where it sprays at the same time that it will spray the water onto the splash guard (? I may have that wrong) and the water will run out down the back of the washer. He showed me the water marks on the back , dusted it out, and gave it a thorough check up.
Anyway, thought I would share this knowledge with the world and maybe save someone else the trouble.

ps: Thanks again for all of the help this time and others. He was surprised at the job I did taking it apart saying that most people whose houses he shows up at try taking off the back first, I told him about the web site. Cheers!
