Washer won't fill with water or agitate.

Will drain and spin

Tried filling it with garden hose and thats when it got really odd!!!

None of the cycles worked but at 8:00 positioin which is OFF, washer agitated in gentle mode.  Wouldn't complete cycle so had to turn knob to get it to drain and spin..  Will only operate in the 8 oclock off position and only to gently agitate.  Then I can drain and start over for rinse in this same position.  Whats up with that????  Frustrated in Los Angeles!!!!

Sounds like a problem with either the water level control or timer.  Should be seven more digits in the model number after 110.

Expensive timer for that old washer! But you can return it if it doesn't fix the problem.
