My washing machine water level fills the tub to full. I usually just turn off supply when it get half way up on the window. Is there a level control?

Thank you for the response.  I found the hose was not connected to the control.  Wonderful design they have, connecting the hose hose to the drum with a zip tie. no wonder it pulled off, I fixed that too.
