I have a Bosch side by side model# B22CS30SNS/01 that is showing a code E21 on the front display.  I believe this indicates a connection problem or faulty control module.  How do you verify which it is.  Can't find any repair or troubleshooting info on line.  Also, although I believe it is not related, the solenoid that controls the ice cube/crushed ice selection went out and it only dispenses crushed ice.  This was a problem for at least a month before the water and ice stopped working.

Thanks

The e21 error code is the code for the Ice and water dispenser or the display from the main board communications problem.

Check filter first.

Check to make sure water valve is working and screen isn't stopped up going into it.

If there's no problems with the main display,

Check wire connection at main board, ice and water dispenser board. Replace dispenser board if wiring and connections are good.
