Thermador Range RDSS30 Troubleshooting Tips?

The customer complaints are as follows

1. When in bake mode even after oven is preheated - the broil element stays ON

2. Some burners do not ignite all the time / very inconsistent.

I would like to go with proper troubleshooting procedures and parts that may be the culprit if the local supplier has anything.

Many thanks!

1) would seem to be serial number after #9512
sounds like bad logic or a bad Relay on the Oven Controller

2) doesn't Spark ?

could be a bad Burner Switch OR bad Spark Module

When any Burner Switch is turned ON, all Burners should Spark.

When the problem occurs, try turning ON an additional Burner.

Do they both ignite now ?

.. and when the problem occurs, none of the Burners Spark ?

seems like a bad or dirty Burner Switch

Conclusion:

Oven / broiler is working fine according to customer, no further repair needed.

I did however suggest a tune up do to its age.  We installed a new spark module and ceramic ignitors and its working like a champ!

Many thanks!
