Maytag washer and dryer

Hi everyone.  I picked up a Maytag model #142 and it's mate, dryer model #641C this past week.  Both are in very good condition but need a thorough look over.

I'm trying to obtain their service manuals and or parts list for these two appliances.  I understand that parts are scarce but I have read that later models used the same parts.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

I think parts are readily available for those models.  Belts, rollers, felt, seal, motor, pump, elements or burner parts.  If I can find them down here in Costa Rica I'm sure that parts select will have them.

parts are easy to get , most parts same up through the 80's

we get these in from time to time , refurb , and sell quick . people want them , because they work and don't break down

Great machines. These were made when the Maytag repairman supposedly had nothing to do... I wonder why we don't see similar commercials today? I also wonder why we don't wear bow ties and those snazzy uniforms anymore?
