Help with separated drum? on Speed Queen AWN412

3 posts in this topic

Hi Folks,

Recently purchased a Speed Queen AWN412 from Albert Lee in Seattle. The washing machine has been working fine for 2 months.

Came down yesterday to find the machine had 'walked' across the laundry room and not drained at all. Closer inspection seems to suggest the barrell / drum has separated from the main unit??? and was the likely cause of the movement.

Albert Lee said they'll send someone out in 2 weeks! So looking to see if there's any suggestions for a self repair.

appreciate any help.

Sincerely

Adam.

Need appliance parts? Call 877-803-7957 now!

Probably not without risking a voided warranty.

They may have said two weeks for the service call hoping that the customer ( you )   would attempt  the  " self-repair"  and  that would void the warranty..........Plus they may charge you for the service call..... ..........
