the bolt that holds the bearing  SHAFT BEARING INLET gust turns on the out side of panel so im having trouble removing the SHAFT BEARING has anyone run into this?

any help how do i remove shaft

You have to take the top off the dryer and the front. Then the inside of the dryer is on a hinge. You can lay the whole tub assy down in front. Just pull forward. Unhook the ground wires first below the drum. Then you can access everything u need.

yah i did not wright the problem well, getting access to it i have no trouble. the problem was the bolt that holds the bearing shaft was spinning. so the shaft wood not tread out and  off the bolt.

so what i did was remove the side panel took it home and on a proper bench drilled out the head of the bolt 1/8 inch off eage on two sides drilled it all the way thurw  panel. got a set of needle nose vise grips i had to take these to the grinder to make them fit. set vise grips in holes it held grate and i was able to remove bearing shaft.

I just did my first one the other day. The Allen bolt was froze, had to drill it out. Interesting design.
