Hi everyone looking for some help here.

I have a Whirlpool Electric Dryer Model WED4800X80.

The dryer will not heat up on the timed cycle at all but will heat up on the "automatic dry" or the "very dry" setting.

Any suggestions?

I have checked the switch, the breaker , lint , lint hose.

doesn't make much sense, but may be bad Cams in the Timer
All cycles use the same Contacts, Auto-Dry controls the Timer Motor

I know it doesn't make sense. When I use the "timed" cycle either 70, 60, 50 minutes the dryer does not heat up.  If I put it in the automatic cycle it heats up.
