All Appliantology tech members are invited to join in this workshop on all things Appliantological: bidness, customers, tools, troubleshooting, flavorite brewski, whatever. Webcams and microphones are open and live!
This workshop is also a great time for any students at Master Samurai Tech to bring any and all questions about the coursework. We're happy to walk through any concepts you're having trouble with. Think of it like office hours with your teachers.
If you have a specific appliance problem you'd like us to talk about, post it here! We need a problem statement and a PDF of the tech sheet or schematic so we can all see it on screen share. If you have a PDF that isn't already in the File library here at Appliantology, send it to us by attaching it to the contact form.
Also, follow this Calendar Event so you'll get notified of new posts here. Look for the "Follow" button either at the top of the topic on desktop or below the topic on mobile.

May I obtain a service manual & tech sheets for this Frigidaire I got a call on tonight about warm refrigerator/freezer compartments. Going to look at 10 am in morning. Not much more info other than it was emptied of contents & unplugged yesterday. I asked that it be plugged back in, forgot to tell them to set controls on middle settings.

if you obtain the manufacture date located on the model tag, you can easily find the manual. This model is a 2007 model. If you searched the download section for "Frigidaire 2007" you would have found it. For sxs fridges, Frigidaire has multi-model manuals for 1999, 2001, 04, 07,and 09. So models made in 2007-2008 would be covered in the 07 manual. They have one multi-model manual for french door fridges, one for bottom mount and one for their professional series. A couple of manuals along with technical sheets cover top mounts.

There should be rare situations to have a Frigidaire manual emergency like you are experiencing now as you should already have the correct manual in your dropbox, etc. If you don't have the manufacture date for their SxS fridges or top mounts , you can go to Frigidaire.com and look at the publication date on the owners manual for the model. The wiring diagram is also there.
