How do I replace the door latch ( on the machine side, not door side)?

:? Uhm, how about Whirlpool Duet HT.

Sorry dude, first time here, and my mother and father were also brother and sister so I was unable to read your welcome message that is conspicuously pegged at the top of this forum and written in such an easy-to-read manner that any moron with half a brain rattling around in their cro magnon skull could understand that they needed to post their model number. As you can see, I was still unable to give you a valid model number because I am such a blast-hardened bone head.

But, hey, washer unhappy means ain't nobody happy.
