This is the worst washer model Maytag ever made.  I really don't want to spend any more money on it but the washer takes over an hour and a half to run through a cycle.  Can you give me an idea of what could be the problem and how I can fix it?  Thanks.

slow fill or slow drain would be my first suspect.  clogged inlet valve screens or a restricted pump

Has it always done this, OR is it a "new to you" Washer ?

Many front load washers take over an hour per complete wash cycle.

Especially if the washer has to heat the water.

If you bought this machine brand new and filled out the warranty registration card, Maytag would have given you a $500 voucher to use on a new top loading machine.  There was a class action lawsuit on these machines.
