I have an old gas dryer from the 70's or 80's. I recently noticed that the gas flow is being shut off after about 20 seconds. I can hear a click as it shuts off. I checked the back vent, and tried running it with the vent removed.....it still does the same thing. Any suggestions?

Might be bad valve coils or one of the thermostats might be flaking out. This page along with the wiring diagram for your dryer will paint the whole picture that you need to find the problem.
