I have intermittent problems with the ice maker not working on this machine.  If I turn off the power to the machine and let it set for a few minutes then reset the breaker the ice maker will resume working.  I have no other problems with the machine.  Can this be a problem with the board that is accessed from the back of the machine, or is this a bad icemaker?  We have always had soft water so no calcium build up is in the ice maker.  Thanks for the help.

Does the water in the door always work? These models have problems with the water tank freezing in the refrigerator. There is also tests for the ice maker. Tech sheet should be located behind grille.

Yes every thing works on this Maytag except the icemaker stops ejecting ice.  The icemaker sets full of ice until I reset the system by shutting off the power to the machine.  I let it set for about 5 minutes, turn back on it's breaker and in about a half hour I hear it drop ice and it will work for around 3 days and then stop again.  Real mystery here.  Thanks for your reply.
