Hi I have a Viva dishwasher that has several symptoms that I cannot unpick.

When it starts there is an intermittant warning on the water inflow light.
There is also some noise as it is filling - a kind of low squealing.
The dishwasher seems stuck in the rinse cycle and the water is cold no matter how long it is left on for
The dishwasher runs and runs and never completes the cycle.

I have checked the heater element and it passes a multimeter test.
There are no blockages in the inflow I checked.

Any ideas greatly appreciated !

Full model number is VVD25W01 EU/21

Thanks

Jon

Survey says:  No information or experience with this brand.

However, if you have a service manual and/or schematic that you could post online for us, we'd be happy to noodle on it with you.

Thanks Guys - the best I have found so far is this exploded view diagram of the machine:

http://luminal.net/m...VD25W01EU21.pdf

There is also a basic manual with usage instructions but it is in French :-)

Is this any help ?

Thanks for trying !!

Looks like a Bosch dishwasher to me.

Find  Samurai's post on Bosch dishwashers not heating and follow the test.

Probably have a bad control. Check for 120v coming out of the control on the red side of the red and gray connector.

Thanks guys - reckon it was made in a Siemens factory so sure you are right - a Bosch rebrand

Off to test it now :-)
