I have a bosch SHX43C05UC/26 dishwasher.  The water was not heating properly, so I checked the control board as suggested in another thread and found the bad relay that is common to this unit.  I replaced the relay with the one recommended.  The DW worked the first time I tried it, and then the same problem started again.  i am wondering if the control panel needs to be replaced.

Also, when running the built in diagnostics, I cannot find anything dealing with this specific unit.  The diagnostics seem to be for units other than the SHX.  I am confused as to which buttons to push to start the built in diagnostics for the machine, and what the resulting lights mean.  If I try to start the diagnostics by pushing the power scrub and regular wash buttons, the regular wash light comes on, and the light over the delicate/econo wash blinks.  I don't know what this means, and I am not sure I am pushing the correct buttons to start the diagnostics.

Please help.

Replacing the relay alone is hit or miss.  Sounds like yours missed.
