My kenmore washer works in every cycle except the rinse cycle, and the cold water does not work at all. I checked the line and the cold water line is fine. It has something to do with the rinse cycle only. Any comments would be appreciated. I am a single mom with 4 kids and i'm the acting man around the house. HELP!!!!

GinaB, You need a water fill valve. When you put it on cold-cold does it make a humming noise at all? If it does you might be lucky enough to be able to clean the valve screens, if that works that would just be a temorary fix, you can get the valve hear, just scroll to the bottom and enter the make and the model #. Let us know and stay in touch
