Hi,
I have a whirlpool smooth top range with oven. Model is
rf386pxeq.
Looks like the oven bulb is burnt out, but i can't figure
out how to get the glass dome over it to open. The
manual says to unscrew the glass, but it just won't budge
except for a small turn.
Here is the light socket i am referring to
http://www.partselect.com/xq/aspx/Inventory.337114/qx/PartDetail.htm?SourceCode=5&ModelNum=RF386PXEQ
Help please !
Thanks !

Go to the hardware store and buy a spray can of Liquid Wrench. Spray it on the seam and the glass dome will practically unscrew itself.
